A Little About Us
Let It Burn Candle Company was founded in 2016 by veteran Joe Martinez and family as a fun side hobby as he and wife Sabrina cared for her mother, Daisy, as she battled ovarian cancer. He wanted to find something to do that could both be fun and something she could also enjoy being home all the time. She absolutely loved candles and always had one burning and plenty stocked up. Daisy passed December 2017 and the family felt what better way to honor her than to continue to put love and passion into a product she enjoyed so much and by 2018 Let it burn had grown from a hobby into a small family business.
About The Owner
Joe Martinez is a United States Navy veteran serving 7 years and served in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. After serving he has spent the remainder of his career working as a power plant and boiler operator, and is now working for the VA. As he got into candle making, he spent 2 years testing and perfecting what we feel to be a beautifully formulated wax, scent and wick making the perfect candle.
